4-H Camp Multipurpose Building Project

Every summer, the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center hosts thousands of youth from across Louisiana at its 4-H summer camp. The impact 4-H camp has on our youth is undeniable. In order to provide a central gathering place that will accommodate all attendees for educational and recreational programs, the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center needs a new multipurpose building.

(Distributed 04/09/13) BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana 4-H Foundation has announced that it has met its financial goals to begin construction on the first phase of its multipurpose building at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center near Pollock, La.

Thanks to the individuals, businesses and organizations that came together to support the 15th Annual Louisiana 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament. The tournament was held on Friday, April 27, at Tamahka Trails Golf Club in Marksville, La., and raised over $21,000 to support the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development Program. We thank the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and all our sponsors and congratulate the winning teams from each flight.
