I joined 4-H in 1979 at Downsville High School. I loved being a part of a group that helped out each other as well as doing community projects. I am also very competitive and thrived on the different contests that you could enter. Being in 4-H made me a better communicator. I joined the Livestock Judging Team and had some of the best times of my life. I encourage every elementary student to join 4-H as soon as you’re able.
