Louisiana Farm Bureau Named as "Legacy Sponsor"

In 2008 Louisiana will celebrate 100 years of 4-H. Many celebrations will be held statewide throughout the year. Louisiana Farm Bureau became a Legacy Sponsor of the Louisiana 4-H Foundation by donating $10,000 to the 4-H Centennial Celebration. In addition to the money donated, each parish Farm Bureau will partner with their parish Cooperative Extension Service to host a parish 4-H Centennial Celebration. We sincerely thank Louisiana Farm Bureau for the generosity and ongoing support of the Louisiana 4-H Program.

The $10,000 check donated to the Louisiana 4-H Centennial was presented at the state Farm Bureau meeting held in Baton Rouge on October 11, 2007.
