Former 4-H Foundation Executive Director Gets Appointed to Governor's Office

Governor-elect Bobby Jindal announced that Trey Williams will serve as the Communications Director for the Governor's Office. Williams formerly served as the Communications Director for Jindal's Congressional office. Williams was previously communications director for Jindal's 2003 gubernational race, executive director of the Louisiana 4-H Foundation and deputy press secretary for Governor Mike Foster.

Williams also served as press secretary for Governor Foster's re-election campaign, in addition to serving on Congressman Jim McCrery's staff. Williams first joined Jindal at the U.S. Department of Health and Hospitals where he served as a special assistant to Jindal. Williams has a degree in journalism from Louisiana Tech University and a masters in mass communications from LSU. Williams was born and raised in Minden, has a wife, Anne, and one child.
