On April 17,2009, Operation: Military Kids held a dairy themed day camp at LSU AgCenter's Dairy Science Research Farm! Thirty-eight military children and their families were able to get up close and personal with dairy cows, sheep, pigs and much more! They were also able to tour the farm via hayride! After lots of fun on the farm, the day was concluded with a cheese making demonstration by LSU's Dairy Store at Nelson Memorial. Here, you can find a few pictures from the camp!
