East Baton Rouge 4-H'ers Lead Our Lady of the Lake Hospital Project
East Baton Rouge Parish 4-H members visit the Our Lady of the Lake Children's Ward quite often to play and make crafts with the patients. This is so the children will get their minds off of their illnesses -- at least for a little while -- and see someone besides doctors and nurses. The 4-H members also clean the playroom to assist the child life specialists who work there. At the end of the year, they participate in the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon and Telethon.
