Allen Parish 4-H Toys for Tots
Allen Parish 4-H members participated in the Toys for Tots Project. The goal was to make 4-H Jr. Leaders aware of community service needs. Jr. Leaders and adult leaders took leadership role in collecting and distributing toys. 4-H clubs spearheaded the collection of toys, and Junior Leaders actually distributed the toys to needy children. There was a partnership with a Marine Corps representative. The project lasted 58 hours as of 12/13/2008 and 793 people were served.
