The LSU AgCenter’s 4-H Department hosted the top shooters from across the state at the Grant Walker Educational Center for a statewide “shoot out.”
The campers who finished in the top five in archery and the .22 rifle competition each week of the regular summer camp were invited back to this special competition, held August 17th and 18th.
Not only did the shooters compete for wonderful prizes, but they enjoyed a day of touring the camp. This gave the participants a chance to share their memories of camp with their families who were in attendance.
Many of the participants spent the night at camp. A great time was had by all!

All participants left camp after a great day of safe shooting. They were all able to meet new friends and create new camp memories at the Grant Walker Educational Center.
