Louisiana Outdoor Science and Technology Camp was held Monday, August 4— Friday August 8, 2008 at 4-H Camp Grant Walker. This is the first time the Summer Camp Experience was offered to 7th and 8th graders. For 4-H’ers who loved going to camp, this was a chance to once again experience 4-H Summer Camp. The tracks offered were Rocketry/Robotics, Wetlands, Energy, Outdoor Skills, GPS/GIS and Forensic Science. Participants were able to choose three of these tracks to participate in while at camp.

The camp is held at Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, a 50-acre campsite located near Pollock, Louisiana on Highway 8 about 15 miles northeast of Alexandria, Louisiana.

If you are currently enrolled in the 7th or 8th grade and are interested in attending next summer, contact your local parish agent.
