Dramatic Arts
The Dramatic Arts track will explore the basics of performing arts in the Theatre-in-the-Woods at 4-H Camp Grant Walker. Budding thespians will learn about the different occupations in the theater and film industries and the artistic aspects of each job. They also will learn to prepare and perform a monologue and scene. Join the fun and learn how to be a star!
Outdoor Adventures
Get ready to explore the great outdoors as a participant in the Outdoor Adventures track this summer at 4-H camp. 4-H campers will have the opportunity to learn and participate in a large variety of hands-on activities. They will learn the proper techniques to shoot a bow and air rifle. Outdoor safety, such as proper clothing and riding of ATVs, will be part of the track. Also, a virtual hunting experience will challenge your skills. Participants who are at least 10 years old and wish to become certified hunters will have that opportunity in this track. Top shooters will have a chance to return to camp to test their skills against other top marksmen statewide. FIRE - Food Is Really Exciting
Never has learning about nutrition been more exciting. Join the FIRE track for some fun! Whether you want to know more about healthy snacks, hidden germs or even how to bake cookies outside, the FIRE track has something for you. Lots of hands-on activities and even some great things to take home are part of this track. Come see what FIRE is all about!
Get ready, get SET - Science, Engineering and Technology
Get ready, get SET…to have some fun with science, engineering and technology. The SET track will explore the exciting worlds of airplanes, chemistry, construction, rockets, robots, computers and much more. Have fun concocting crazy chemistry experiments that go pop, fizz and maybe even boom. See who can make a paper airplane fly the farthest. Can your Popsicle-stick bridge hold up against the elements? Or will your robot be able to take it down with one swoop? Get ready to get SET at 4-H Camp!
