PowerPoint Tips/Presentation Software
PowerPoint available for the contest is PowerPoint 2007
Microsoft Office Word 2007 will be used (to construct abstract)
We will use CDs for PowerPoints. Youth should know how to burn a presentation to a CD.
Microsoft Excel or the calculator located under Accessories in the program list may be used for computing budget information. No cell phone calculators are allowed.
Note: Please refer to the 4‐H U rules packet for the score sheets for the oral presentation and abstract. Remember, this is a true team contest, and all team members should participate in all parts of the contest, with the exception of the oral presentation. One team member presents the oral presentation; one team member will be allowed to operate the computer equipment to advance the PowerPoint presentation but will not speak during the presentation. All team members are encouraged to participate in answering any questions after the presentation, if applicable.
