The World’s a Stage: Bringing Out the Actor in YOUth!

As Shakespeare said, “All the world is a stage.” Through this workshop, participants reflected on this idea and discovered ways to translate their everyday life a wide variety of dramatic performances. This session was for anyone who wanted to learn about acting and theater arts. By actively engaging in a series of acting experiences, participants received “hands‐on” experiences on how to act as well as what venues are available to express oneself. The class focused on performance‐oriented movement, pantomime, voice, improvisation and other related areas with an emphasis on practical scene and monologue work.
