“Hands to larger service” is an integral part of the 4-H experience. The State 4-H Citizenship Board is a group of teen leaders working to promote service and citizenship across Louisiana.

2012 Contest Rules
Louisiana 4-H’ers will compete for best in the state in more than 40 events ranging from plant identification, photography and computer simulation to speechmaking and fashion design. Attached here are the 2012 4-H University contest rules.

Fashion Camp was "Sew" Much Fun [Image: fashion ]
4-H agents, members and adult volunteer leaders traveled from across the state to 4-H Camp Grant Walker, in Pollock, Louisiana, to attend the annual State 4-H Fashion Camp. This statewide 4-H Fashion Camp is a great opportunity for girls and boys to experience two days of learning and fun.

Louisiana Connections Camp [Image: LA connections ]
The first ever Louisiana Connections was a huge success thanks to the efforts of the State 4-H Citizenship Board! Louisiana 4-H members in the seventh through ninth grades got to take a road trip across the state without getting in a car. Participants from 14 parishes enjoyed the many aspects of Louisiana Connections.

Get "Wild About 4-H Food and Fitness!" This year's camp will feature safari fitness and new exotic foods. Camp will be held on March 17 and 18.
Junior Leadership Conference
Information for 2012 Junior Leadership Conference being held March 9-11, 2012, at Camp Grant Walker. 4-H Junior Leadership Conference provides the opportunity for diverse groups of youth who are currently engaged in significant leadership and/or service-learning activities to come together while further learning and developing their leadership and teamwork skills.
