2009-10 4-H Food & Fitness Board Hold Falls Meeting

The fall meeting of the 2009-10 State 4-H Food and Fitness Board was held on October 17, 2009. The meeting was held at LaHouse in Baton Rouge, La. The group welcomed three new volunteer advisors (Bonnie Miller, Acadia; Vickie Jowers, Concordia; Cathy "Skeeter" Mouton, Iberia).
At the board meeting the members, volunteers and advisors worked on plans for the statewide camp being held in March 2010. The camp will feature food and fitness activities from throughout the globe.
Board members also strengthen their teamwork skills through several team-building activities.
