Farmer of the Year Winners and Finalists
"The Louisiana Farmer of the Year Program" was started in 1998 as a partnership with the Louisiana Network, LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry as a way to honor Louisiana's number one industry: agriculture.

To continue addressing the current issues of Louisiana’s agriculture, the LSU AgCenter will host the 2008 Agricultural Outlook Conference on February 25 - 27, 2008, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Monroe. The theme of this year’s conference is “Connecting Agriculture and Renewable Energy Opportunities.”
