Supervisory Hotspots

Managing others is one of the most important and most demanding tasks that a manager faces. Get it right and you succeed, get it wrong and you are totally lost. Supervisory Hotspots will be offered on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, via distance education. This training is a 1/2-day session and will be held from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The course will review core rules for supervisors; address the dreaded attendance/tardiness issue; and clue you in to some of the myths about employee/supervisor rights and responsibilities. By being aware of and understanding these hotspots, you can diffuse them and be a more-effective supervisor.

Note: Employees who register for classes should be committed to attending, as space in courses is often limited.
