To continue addressing the current issues facing Louisiana agriculture, the LSU AgCenter will host the 2010 Agricultural Outlook Conference on Jan. 21, 2010, in the State Evacuation facility at the LSU AgCenter's Dean Lee Research and Extension Center in Alexandria. The theme of this year’s conference is “Keeping Louisiana Agriculture Competitive."

This year's program will feature experts discussing topics such as biofuels, commodity outlooks, climate change, recession and the Cap and Trade debate.

The conference is free, but you do need to register for the registration packet, continental breakfast, morning break and box lunch. Advance registration is required because of limited seating capacity.

The conference is sponsored by the LSU AgCenter.
