Areas of Specialization/Research

As an undergrad Jennifer worked in 4 different departments as a research assistant, before settling upon an interdisciplinary interest of medical entomology.

The Kramer lab focuses mainly upon mosquito vectors of West Nile, but I am also beginning a side-project about Corethrella~ in perspective to medical entomology.

Sept 1997-May 1998 URAP undergrad student grant for biochem independent study project:binding affinity of trivalent cations to the C2 domain of protein cPLA2, (important in inflammatory pathway), using rapid-stir flourescence microscopy
