Areas of Specialization/Research
Supervises and manages maintenance and repair activities for equipment, buildings and other facilities; responsible for performance of quality maintenance work by all maintenance employees; oversees accuracy and completeness of work and records completed by subordinates; trains employees and instructs and/or supervises employees on safety practices; discusses, plans and coordinates maintenance repair and use of facilities, buildings, vehicles and equipment with the station director, research project leaders and graduate students; maintains budget for the experimental farm and purchases supplies, parts and other necessary items for repair and maintenance program; plans necessary modifications of equipment and facilities for research purposes; recommends charges and modifications of equipment and facilities; supervises and plans preventive maintenance. |
