2002 -Present -- I was assigned a Family Development Specialty Appointment for Pointe Coupee, WBR, Ascension and Assumption parishes.
December 2008 -- Received certification from Louisiana Pathways to teach child care classes.
I also train and supervise the Parents Preparing for Success paraprofessional for our tri-parish area.
As the Family Development Specialty agent, I am responsible for teaching Child Care Provider program to Class A, B and Family Daycare in my assigned parishes.
I also conduct series of classes on positive parenting, anger management, children in the middle, character development and other specialty-related topics.

Professional Experience 1982-1989 Employed by the LSU AgCenter in Pointe Coupee Parish as 4-H FCS Agent.
1989-1992 Employed by the Pointe Coupee School Board as elementary teacher.
1992-1994 Employed by the LSU AgCenter in Pointe Coupee Parish as 4-H FCS Agent.
1994-present Employed by the LSU AgCenter as FCS agent in five parishes and assigned specialty in 2002. |
