(Radio News 04/27/09) Youth across the state participated in Youth Wetlands Week. The LSU AgCenter sponsored the week of lessons and activities to highlight the importance of the state’s wetlands. But the members of America’s Wetland Conservation Corps – a group of AmeriCorps members working thoughout Louisiana – dedicate a year to raising awareness of wetland conservation.
