(Radio News 10/12/09) The remnants of Hurricane Rita’s destruction are still evident in coastal Cameron Parish four years later. Only about a third of the population has returned to the area. Parish administrator Tina Horn says the Louisiana Recovery Authority is working with the parish to help people pay the additional costs of elevating and fortifying their homes.
