Researchers study sugarcane varieties as ethanol sources

(TV News 12/22/08) Sugar gives people energy, but sugarcane also could be a source of energy for our vehicles. LSU AgCenter researchers are studying varieties of sugarcane called "energy cane" that can be grown to produce ethanol. (Runtime: 1 minute, 30 seconds)
