Restoration Planting at Rockefeller Refuge

Following a two-day training, the AWCC members teamed up to plant Spartina alterniflora along a half-mile stretch of canal at Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Cameron, La.  The members planted over 1,400 plants in the hopes of stabalizing the canal bank and slowing erosion.
