LSU AgCenter Announces Forest Herbicide Workshop
The LSU AgCenter is pleased to announce a forest herbicide workshop. The workshop qualifies for Commercial Pesticide Applicator recertification credit in Forestry Categories 2a and 2b. Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry personnel will be present to monitor attendance and complete the necessary paperwork at the end. You can contact Marty Pousson at 225-925-3787 if you have questions about recertification.
The forest herbicide workshop will be held November 5 at the Country Inn & Suites Conference Center at 2727 Monroe Hwy, Pineville Louisiana. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., and the workshop is scheduled to conclude with the recertification of commercial pesticide applicators at 4:40 p.m. Pre-registration fee is $75 if paid by October 28. Registration after October 28 is $100.
Please be sure to download the attached registration form and flyer. Complete all the required information and mail the registration form along with your check to Brian Chandler, 4419 Idlewild Road, Clinton, Louisiana 70722. Make your check payable to "Florida Parishes Forestry Forum."
Continuing Forestry Education has been applied for.
