Contractor on Board

The LaHouse team is thrilled and honored to welcome a contractor who will help to make the Louisiana House vision a reality.

Roy Domangue of Wooden Creations has offered to contribute his services as the LaHouse home building contractor. Since the early '80s, he has demonstrated a commitment "to offer the best technology so you can afford to live comfortably for years to come." He is known for his high quality, energy-efficient homes and his initiative in pursuing and adopting advantageous new technologies.

Domangue has three goals to be able to build efficient homes. First, the design has to be architecturally pleasing yet still cost effective. The design should use space efficiently in the floor plan as well as be oriented to the climate and, more important, the family. Second, efficient-energy usage can be achieved by using the latest technology to create family comfort while consuming less fuel. Finally, he knows many people don't have the time or money to maintain a home and therefore uses products that are long lasting and require less upkeep.

When asked at why he got involved with Louisiana House, Domangue said, "I believe the promotion of this construction will benefit a multitude of people. It (LaHouse) will benefit Louisiana in educating the people of the products available to them to achieve efficiency in construction."
