1 cup quick cooking grits 2 cups water 1 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp butter |
1. In a 2 quart pot, bring water, milk and salt to boil. 2. Slowly pour in grits while stirring constantly. 3. Reduce temperature to let the mixture boil on low for about 30 mintues, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. 4. Add more water if necessary. 5. When cooked, add butter and serve.
