Turfgrass – Sod Production in Alabama, J.J. Cain, et al., 10/2003, Auburn University bull. 653 is a study of Alabama’s sod industry and its marketing. Survey results show how they overall produce and market their sod but do not speak to an individual grower’s inputs and costs.

This is also set up as generalized overviews of small, medium and large farms but does not speak to an individual grower’s inputs and costs.

Economics of Turfgrass Establishment, S.W. Martin and W. Wells, 8/2001, Mississippi Ag & Forestry Experiment Station. Research Report, V. 22, no. 18. This document is similar to our approach but only covers hybrid bermudagrass
