Fletcher, Bobby H., Jr.

Bobby Fletcher, Jr., Ph.D. is assistant director of the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service and is primarily responsible for parish programming in Louisiana.  Dr. Fletcher  has been employed with the LSU AgCenter for 20 years. He worked as an Area Horticulture Agent for the past ten years in Lafourche, St. Mary, and Terrebonne parishes.

Bobby received his B.S. degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1986 and his M.S. degree from LSU in Baton Rouge in 1994. He also received a Specialization in Horticulture from the LSU AgCenter and a Ph.D. from LSU in Baton Rouge in Human Resource Education with a minor in Horticulture in 2006.

Bobby’s responsibilities include coordinating statewide educational efforts by Cooperative Extension Service parish faculty and leading the Louisiana Master Gardener volunteer program. In addition, he serves on the Cooperative Extension Service administrative team in Efferson Hall on the LSU campus.
