"Easy-Care Landscapes: The Best of the Old and New"
Today many of us are interested in low-maintenance plants for our Louisiana landscapes. Which species and varieties are good performers for our climate? Many new ornamental plants have been introduced in the past few years--some good, some bad. This presentation will cover new and old ornamental plants (roses, annual bedding plants, herbaceous perennials, shrubs and treees) that are adapted to Louisiana. Dr. Owings will also highlight low maintenance, disease resistance and flowering performance.
