Winter, Norman

Norman Winter, who received his bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University and master’s degree from Texas A&M University, is no stranger to the world of horticulture.

His award-winning Southern Gardening television news segment is seen weekly in each market in Mississippi and nationally on RFD-TV. His Southern Gardening radio program is heard daily on 42 stations.

He is also a syndicated columnist with Knight Ridder Tribune now McClatchy Tribune where his columns are read nationwide from coast to coast. He’s the garden columnist for Southern Breeze, a popular gulf coast travel magazine, Mississippi Wildlife magazine and Bluffs and Bayous magazine.
