Post Conference Tours:
TOUR A Creole Nature Trail – This tour is limited to 30 people. We will travel to Cameron Parish to see flora and fauna of our wetlands. The tour will include a stop at the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge and a drive through Pintail Drive. We will provide a sack lunch to be enjoyed in the van on the way. Cost of the tour is $30. ( approx. 3-hour tour)
TOUR B Margaret Place Tour – This tour is limited to 30 people and will include a light lunch and tea. The tour includes homes and gardens of the oldest recorded subdivision in the parish. Dr. Alan Armatage will attend the tour and entertain us with stories of the plants found growing in the gardens. Cost of the tour is $30. (approx. 3-hour tour)
TOUR C – Tea House – This tour is limited to 30 people and will include Light Lunch/Tea. Attend a high tea at Noblese Oblige Tea House, located in historic downtown Lake Charles. Cost of the tour is $30. (approx. 1.5-hour tour).
