- guided tours of NOBG butterfly garden by Louisiana Master Gardeners
Book Sale & Signing by Dan Gill
Don't miss a special book sale and signing by Dan Gill of his very popular Month-By-Month Gardening in Louisiana on Saturday, April 5, at 1:30 p.m. in the Lath House. Sold by the Master Gardeners at a discounted price of only $10. Proceeds from this sale will benefit community projects and events supported by the Louisiana Master Gardeners of Greater New Orleans.
Among other highlights of this year's Spring Garden Show will be an exhibit on butterfly gardening by the Louisiana Master Gardeners of Greater New Orleans. In addition to their educational display and demonstration butterfly garden, the Master Gardeners will host their second annual container garden sale and competition. These colorful and unique container gardens will each have a butterfly gardening theme and be offered for sale. Come early for the best selection. In addition, the entire collection of butterfly plants featured in the Louisiana Master Gardener demonstration butterfly garden will be raffled. Proceeds of the sale and raffle will benefit various volunteer projects sponsored by MGGNO.
