Volunteer Projects Master Gardeners of Greater New Orleans Earn valuable service hours by volunteering for these approved MGGNO projects* and special events.  Master Gardeners are required to serve 20 volunteer hours annually with 40 service hours required their first year in the program. The list that follows includes the AgCenter-approved MGGNO projects that require assistance at this time. Other projects exist that are worked by individuals or groups that do not require specific assistance at this time.
