The Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners, as part of their commitment to educating the public in good gardening practices and the joys of gardening, sponsors quarterly lectures on a variety of subjects. The program is open to the public and free of charge, but pre-registration is requested.      E-mail registration is preferred or phone 869-1526.

The next lecture is scheduled for November 4, 2009 at the Gardens of the American Rose Center from 10AM until noon.  Dr. Dave Creech of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas will present : "10 Points to Have a Successful Shreveport Garden...Anyone Can Do It".

Dr. Creech will auction off several plants donated by SFA.  Always informative and very entertaining, Dr. Creech's lecture is one you will want to be sure to attend, so register soon.
