Because of changes in the world population and changing demands for food and fiber, agricultural graduates will be increasingly faced with decisions which require knowledge about the business of agriculture.
The Department offers the Agricultural Business degree program to prepare you for challenging careers in the food and fiber agribusiness industry. This degree emphasizes the application of management, marketing, finance, and other business concepts to the food and fiber system. You are also given experience in applying economic principles to the use of resources for production, processing, distribution, and consumption of goods and services in agriculture. The Agricultural Business Minor, offered through the College of Agriculture, is designed to complement other degree programs within the College of Agriculture. If you have specific questions about the program, please email the Undergraduate Coordinator or refer to the Handbook of Undergraduate Studies.
