Renewable Natural Resources exemplifies an interdisciplinary research approach in coastal and inland wetland systems and offers a unique diversity of research programs in wetland systems. RNR faculty conducting wetland research obtained their doctorates in a diversity of fields including biology, ecology, fisheries, forestry, forest ecology, plant physiology, soils and hydrology, oceanography, wildlife ecology and zoology.
