Allen Parish 4-H Participates in 4-H University

Louisiana 4-H License Plate

The Office of Motor Vehicles has released the 4-H license plate approved in 2002. The fee for the 4-H plate is $50 every two years ($25 per year) in addition to regular registration fees. Of the additional $25 fee, $15 will go to the Louisiana 4-H Foundation and $10 to the 4-H foundation in the parish where the plate was sold.

4-H Camp
Camp Date for Allen Parish 4-H: July 20-24, 2009. Where: 4-H Camp Grant Walker, Pollock, La. Who: Fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders between the ages of 9 & 12. 4-H camp is a week-long adventure where campers spend outdoor time away from home in a cabin with other kids, teen counselors and adult chaperones.

Freezing will not improve the quality of any food but will maintain it if the procedures recommended in this publication are followed.
