If the pest is found, the quarantine prevents citrus producers from selling anywhere except to other infected parishes. 4-H in Ascension Parish 4-H in Ascension Parish is a part of a local, state, national and international youth program. It is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States. Our parish has twenty-seven organized clubs. This includes a Home School Club. We also have an active Junior Leader Club as well as a Horse Club.
