The Beef and Dairy Poster contest is held as an educational awareness campaign. Posters created by 4-H’ers display the use of beef and dairy products for healthy living.
Beef Poster Contest
Purpose: To learn more about beef and/or beef products and their importance to human health.
Deadline: May 30, 2008 --- Deadline for turning in parish winners for State Contest
Make a poster telling the story of beef and/or beef products. The finished poster should be appropriate for use on a billboard.
Dairy Poster Contest
Purpose: Learn more about milk and milk products and their importance to healthy bodies; Demonstrate communication skills by drawing a billboard encouraging or promoting the consumption of milk and/or milk products. ; Share their knowledge with others.
Deadline: May 8, 2008
4‑H club members are to draw a billboard that encourages or promotes the consumption of milk and milk products and their importance for health.
