What are Cloverbuds?

Cloverbuds is a program within 4-H that is uniquely designed for 3rd graders. It offers developmentally age appropriate, fun learning activities.

What’s the purpose of Cloverbuds?

  • help children expand their current interests through new exploration
  • assist students in developing skills that build self-confidence and self-esteem
  • allow kids to try new things and learn new skills
  • promote creativity and discovery without putting an emphasis on competition.

Club Information:

Who can join?

How much does it cost?

Membership dues are $7.00 per member. This covers newsletters, notices, monthly project materials, and rewards.

When and where are the club meetings?

Meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Lamar-Dixon Center in Gonzales. Each meeting will last approximately 1 hour.

Cloverbud members are involved in informal educational learning activities that promote:

  • Positive life skills
  • Learning new information through fun activities
