Ascension Parish teens work hard to serve as state leaders
Five Ascension Parish 4-H'ers were chosen to serve on 4-H state leadership boards for the 2009-2010 year.

Four Ascension Parish 4-H'ers participated in the 2009 Food and Fitness camp held at Camp Grant Walker. The girls learned about nutrition, fitness and etiquette and had fun playing games, enjoying Mardi Gras and trying new recipes.

Curiosity and skills soar during 4-H science camp

Science touches our lives in many ways -- in medicine, electronics, military, and textiles, to name a few. To help youth understand how science impacts lives, the Ascension Parish 4-H Science, Engineering and Technology Board held a Science Camp on November 22 at the First United Methodist Church of Gonzales.
