[Image: Cody Hood]From June 17-20th more than 1600 teenagers participated in the 94th annual 4-H University. This three day event is one highlight of the LSU AgCenter’s 4-H youth development program. In addition to the contests and educational sessions, 4-H’ers elected state 4-H executive committee board officers. Cody Hood of Assumption 4-H was elected Louisiana 4-H State Secretary/Treasurer. As a member of the state board Cody will not only be representing his parish and region, but the entire state during functions throughout the year. Cody will help determine the future of 4-H in Louisiana. Cody is the son of Leslie and Danny Madere and Tom and Frankie Hood. Congratulations Cody on a well deserved honor.
