La. 4-H U 2009 [Image: 4-H] Avoyelles 4-H'ers had a great time competing in the state contests at 4-H University in Baton Rouge this summer. Approximately 25 contestants from Avoyelles were present, and rougly 15 placed. Of those, two were state winners and the remainder were blue ribbon winners. 4-H Camp 2009 [Image: 4-H] Approximately 80 Avoyelles youth travelled to 4-H Camp Grant Walker to spend a week June 20-25, 2009.
