[Image: How to Change a Tire]Avoyelles Junior Leaders meet on the first Monday of each month to learn about valuable life skills important for growing into young adults. During the month of October 2007 the meeting was about health and fitness. The Junior Leaders had a competition to create the shirt for the upcoming Turkey Trot in November. During November the meeting was about How to change a tire…...the junior leaders present were asked to break into teams and to practice the skills that they learned at the meeting. The steps began with keeping themselves safe to wrapping up safely.
