[Image: Avoyelles Parish 4-H Horse Team]The Avoyelles parish Horse Program is an active group of young people and adult volunteers. Trail rides are planned for December 2007 and spring 2008. Junior Master horseman clinics will be held in Pointe Coupee Parish beginning in October of 2007 lasting for one year or 12 meetings. All 4-Her’s participating or interested in the horse project are encouraged to take part in this hands on educational program. Meetings are held on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons depending upon scheduling.
