[Image: Picture of Commodity Cookery Dishes]The 4-H Area Commodity Cookery Cook-off took place on April 22, 2008 at the Alexandria Mall. 4-H'ers from 10 parishes competed. The commodity categories were sweet potato, egg, beef, seafood, poultry and pecan. Dishes included Pecan Creams, Vela's Scrumptious Cheesecake, Egg Omelet and more.
