2008 Avoyelles Smart Bodies Lafargue Elementary participated in the Smart Bodies program during the 2008-2009 school year.  This program has three components; the body walk, the organ wise guys, and take 10 activities. The children participated for 10 weeks with the organ wise guys and the take 10 activities before the body walk arrived. This day was filled with a lot of fun, laughter, and of course EDUCATION about the human body.
