4-H Camp 2009 Approximately 80 Avoyelles youth travelled to 4-H Camp Grant Walker to spend a week June 20-25, 2009.  The week was filled with fun, games, excitement, a little homesickness and lots of memories which will last a lifetime. The children made things so much fun for each other.  We never have kids who are uncaring or unkind, really.  They took care of each other and looked out for each other all week, so it made the week fly by.  Problems were almost nonexistent, and the atmosphere was one of excitement, even the day that it rained so much that we had restricted activity. 4-H kids are the best, and if everyone could have half of the character which they do the world would be a much kinder place.
