"Back to the Future - The Next 100 Years"
Junior Leadership Conference will be held March 13th thru 15th at Camp Grant Walker in Pollock, LA. Any 4-H member in grades 9th-12th are invited to attend. The cost is $30 & a Caddo 4-H Foundation Scholarship of $30. Travel will be coordinated by participants, parents, & the 4-H office.
This Leadership conference provides the opportunity for diverse groups of youth who are currently engaged in significant leadership/or service learning activities to come together to further learning and developing their leadership and teamwork skills. Tracks offered are:
SET - Computer technology, importance of Louisiana Wetland, and nanotechnology
CITIZENSHIP - Becoming citizens of the universe
CAMP COUNSELOR TRAINING - To prepare youth to teach and guide others
HEALTH ROCKS - Interactive & fun. Learn skills such as decision-making, critical thinking, and stress management.
